Prof. Nian Cai Liu is currently the Director of the Center for World-Class Universities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the founding dean of the School of Education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include world-class universities and academic ranking, education evaluation and school excellence, internationalization of education and global common good(s). His recent books include “Education in China and the World: Achievements and Contemporary Issues” (Open access) and “World-Class Universities: Global Trends and Institutional Models”. He is on the editorial/advisory boards of major international and national journals.
