Associate Professor
Shuai Wang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China. He currently serves as the Executive Editor for Distance Education [SSCI, Q1]. The overriding goal of Dr. Wang’s research is to develop and evaluate innovative digital teaching and learning approaches, ultimately facilitating educational policy formulation and implementation.
Throughout his career, Dr. Wang has served as a Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigator, and senior personnel for many projects funded by national and provincial grant programs, foundations, and commercial partners. His work has led to publications in top-tier research journals, presentations at prestigious international conferences, book chapters, and these have resulted in global media coverage, including U.S. National Science Foundation homepage.
He currently serves as the Executive Editor for Distance Education [SSCI, Q1], an associate editor for EJED [SSCI, Q1], and an editorial board member for 5 SSCI journals, including Studies in Science Education and ETR&D, and as a reviewer for more than 30 leading journals. He also served on the U.S. National Science Foundation panel for proposal reviews. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
