Shuai Wang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China. The overriding goal of Dr. Wang’s research is to develop and evaluate diverse digital teaching and learning approaches, ultimately facilitating educational policy formulation and implementation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wang has served as a Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigator, and senior personnel for many projects funded by U.S. federal grant programs, foundations, and commercial partners. His work has led to publications in top-tier research journals, presentations at prestigious international conferences, book chapters, and these have resulted in global media coverage, including U.S. National Science Foundation homepage.

He currently serves as an associate editor for EJED (SSCI Q1), and an editorial board member for 4 SSCI Q1 journals, including ETR&D and EJED, and as a reviewer for more than 20 leading international journals. He also served on the U.S. National Science Foundation panel for proposal reviews. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
