Master’s Student Wang Jingcheng Participates in Sino-German Summer School in Germany

WANG Jingcheng at the China International College Students‘ Innovation Competition (2026) German Regional Competition and the Sino-German Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum During his stay in Munich, Wang took part in the German Regional Competition of the 2026 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition and the Sino-German Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum. He held thorough academic discussions with international peers, facilitating mutual learning and showcasing outstanding academic professionalism on the global stage.

At the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the summer school centered on the theme of “technology commercialization”. Chinese and German students were matched into cross-border teams, with each group responsible for developing commercial schemes based on a designated patent. Participants polished their business models through entrepreneurship courses, academic seminars, cultural exchange events and corporate visits. Under joint guidance from Chinese and German professors and industry experts, all teams completed repeated optimization and iterative design, eventually forming complete business plans oriented toward high-tech commercialization and delivering formal pitch presentations. The summer program not only strengthened students’ practical entrepreneurial abilities, but also deepened cross-cultural understanding and mutual learning between Chinese and German youngsters.

The German exchange brought Wang valuable hands-on experience in innovation, entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, and greatly broadened his international perspective via communication with global peers. From seminars and competitive events to on-campus training and pitch presentations, every activity fueled his professional growth and elevated his cross-cultural communication competence.
