Dr. ZHANG Xiaoqiao, who has living abroad for 16 years, shared her experience and gave advice on choosing US schools and how to cope with stress in a different cultural environment.

On December 15th, the 2021 Student Social Studies Summary Conference of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) was successfully held in Chen Ruiqiu Building. The summer social studies team of the School of Education (SOE) stood out among hundreds of teams. Not only did the SOE’s team win the Grand Prize for Summer Social Studies of SJTU, but also was named "National Best Team" in the activity of "Finding the National Top 100 Summer Social Studies Teams of University Students".

On December 10th, School of Education held a jogging event celebrating its first anniversary. All students, faculty members and staff were invited to join the event. 

On March 25, 2021, the School of Education (SOE) celebrated graduation for Class of 2021. This year, Bon Voyage Graduation Ceremony aims to teach graduates of SOE the last lesson.

International relations are shifting as multilateral trade and cooperation are being renegotiated between countries, such as the US and the UK, and trade blocks. Meanwhile, China is launching the New Silk Road, or One Belt One Road Initiative, that could potentially span and integrate major parts of the world across Eurasia. Based on the international research project on the New Silk Road, this course will explore how these changing relationships are affecting academic cooperation and what opportunities this opens for universities, students, and researchers.

The New Silk Road: Connecting students and universities from China and Europe Summer School was held at Utrecht University, Netherlands from August 19 to 23, 2019. Co-organized by Utrecht University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the summer school was aimed to explore how the Belt and Road Initiative of China affects cooperation between Chinese and European universities.
