SOE hosts Student Career Guidance Symposium for Autumn

On the afternoon of 9th October, the Student Career Guidance Symposium of the SOE, SJTU, was held. The meeting invited Ms. WU Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mathematical Sciences of SJTU, and Executive Vice President and Deputy Secretary of Minhang Experimental School Affiliated to SJTU. The sharing session was hosted by CHEN Peng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SOE, and attended by more than twenty students and teachers.

Combined with her own education and working experience, Ms. WU firstly asked students whether they love their majors, how to choose the direction of graduation, and what kind of choices make you feel happy and meaningful. Looking into the future, Ms. WU suggested that students should pay more attention to the three aspects of self-knowledge, direction of further study and future employment. Ms. WU also introduced and shared specific issues such as CV making and standardizing grooming. After the sharing, students actively asked questions about their own situation. Ms. WU gave detailed answers to the questions.
